Japan's Assistance for the Construction of Safe Home Rehabilitation to Victim of Trafficking in Kathmandu
The Government of Japan has decided to extend financial assistance of eighty-nine thousand, nine hundred and seven US Dollars (USD 89,907), equivalent to approximately six million, nine hundred and sixty-four thousand Nepali Rupees (NPR 6,964,000), to SHAKTI SAMUHA for the implementation of the Project for Construction of Safe Home for Increasing Rehabilitation to Victims of Trafficking in Gokarna, in Japan's FY 2009. This financial assistance is extended under the Grant Assistance for Grassroots Human Security Projects (GGP) scheme of the Government of Japan. More.....

Japanese Assistance for Micro Irrigation and Drinking Water Supply in Tanahun District
The Embassy of Japan has decided to extend a grant of forty-eight thousand, five hundred and forty two US Dollars (USD 48,542), equivalent to approximately three million, seven hundred and thirty-eight thousand, two hundred and nineteen Nepalese Rupees (NPR 3,738,219) to Nepal Humanitarian Help Organization for the implementation of the Project for Micro Irrigation and Clean Drinking Water in Tanahun District under the Grant Assistance for Grassroots Human Security Projects (GGP) Scheme of the Government of Japan in Japan's Fiscal Year 2009. Demonstration of Martial Arts by Mr. Kenji USHIRO & U.K. Jissen-Juku
Mustang Development Service Association (MDSA), in support of the Embassy of Japan, JICA Nepal Office and Japanese Association in Nepal, is organizing a Demonstration of Martial Arts by Mr. Kenji USHIRO and U.K. Jissen-Juku. The demonstration will be held in Multipurpose Martial Arts Center (MMAC) in Nayabazaar, Kathmandu at 2 p.m. on Monday, July 27, 2009. An eight-member Japanese delegation is visiting Kathmandu to demonstrate the martial arts. More.....

Japan Provides Grant for Sindhuli Road
The Government of Japan has agreed to extend a grant up to four billion, three hundred and thirty-three million Japanese Yen (¥4,333,000,000), equivalent to three billion, four hundred and eighty-three million, seven hundred and thirty-two thousand Nepalese Rupees (NRs.3,483,732,000), or approximately forty-five million, and thirty-eight thousand US Dollars (US$45,038,000) to the Government of Nepal for the implementation of the Project for Construction of the Sindhuli Road (Section III: Khurkot - Nepalthok Section) in Japan's Fiscal Year 2009.
