Japan Resource Center (JRC) Facilities and Services


The Information and Cultural Department of the Embassy of Japan in Nepal takes pleasure in informing all concerned that, the Japan Resource Center (JRC) is open for its members in order to disseminate updated information on Japan at the annex inside its chancellery at Panipokhari, Kathmandu.
We have varieties of books in Japanese as well as in English ranging from Japanese history, politics tradition and culture to Japanese language and higher education information books.
There are periodicals and magazines regarding Japanese business, economy, culture, society, science, technology and much more.
Audio-visual materials on Japanese language study, Japan video topics (documentary series of Japanese art, culture, life and technology) and Japanese world heritage are also available.
Interested scholars, students and friends of Japan are welcome to become the members of the Center. The facilities at the center will be made available to the visitors from 9.30 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. (lunch-break 1:00 pm - 2:00 pm) Monday to Friday, except holidays designated by the Embassy of Japan.
Facilities and services provided in the Resource Center are as follows:

- Counseling and guidance on higher studies and scholarships in Japan

Applications are accepted during office hours (09:30 -13:00, 14:00-17:00)
