In the evening of August 8, 2021, a part of first-batch of Japanese-made AstraZeneca COVID-19 vaccines arrived in Kathmandu, following the handover ceremony yesterday, August 7 at the Tribhuvan International Airport. Mr. Miyamoto, First Secretary of the Japanese Embassy confirmed the arrival today.
