Japan Day and Japanese Film Festival in Kathmandu

In Kathmandu, the Japan Day and the Japanese film festival was organized on March 25th and 26th at National Theatre, Jamal. On Japan Day, participants experienced the Japanese cultures like wearing Japanese dress (yukata and happi coat), calligraphy writing, origami making, and trying traditional Japanese games at the venue. Participants watched Japanese movies wearing the Japanese dresses and enjoyed the photo session at the Japanese style photo booth. Almost 2000 peoples visited the venue and enjoyed the Japanese art and culture directly after overcoming the COVID-19 pandemic.
