Japanese Film Festival in Pokhara

The Embassy of Japan organized a Japanese Film Festival on 24th and 25th February at Pokhara Chamber of Commerce and Industries (PCCI) Hall, Gairapatan, Pokhara. Five movies were screened (two movies on 24th and three on 25th). The festival in Pokhara was organized after three years interval due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The films covered popular genres such as comedy, contemporary dramas, animation etc. Most of the audiences were the Japanese language learners and audiences of Japanese art and culture. The festival attracted some 500 people for the five screenings.
