Foreign Minister Motegi’s Sympathy Message to Foreign Minister Khadka,
regarding the flooding and landslides in Nepal
regarding the flooding and landslides in Nepal
(Kathmandu, October 28): H.E. Mr. MOTEGI Toshimitsu, Minister for Foreign Affairs of Japan, sent the following message of sympathy to Hon. Dr. Narayan Khadka, Minister for Foreign Affairs of Nepal, on the damages caused by floods and landslides by the heavy rain in Nepal.

“I am deeply sorry to hear about the serious damage caused by floods and landslides brought about by the heavy rain which affected the whole of Nepal.
I would like to express my heartfelt condolences for the victims and ask you to please accept my deepest sympathies for their families.
As always the Government of Japan stands by the Government of Nepal and her people, and we are ready to support, with any necessary assistance, the Government of Nepal. We pray for the earliest recovery of the affected areas.”
