The Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology (Monbukagakusho/MEXT) of Japan offers scholarships to foreign students who wish to study at Japanese universities and colleges.

All application procedures for the MEXT Scholarhips are conducted through the Japanese Embassy or higher education institutions in Japan.
If you wish to know further information regarding the Japanese Government (MEXT) Scholarship, please contact the Japanese Embassies or higher education institutions in which you wish to enroll.
Application fee is not charged.
Please be aware that organizations or individuals who charge application fee or deposits for the procedures of this scholarship have no relation with the MEXT Scholarship.
