1. The Embassy of Japan in Nepal, on behalf of the Government of Japan, welcomes Nepalese people that the Interim Election Council of Ministers finally announced the election date of the next Constituent Assembly.

2. The Embassy of Japan hopes that the election and its process will be held peacefully, in the free and fair manner and without any further delay in a spirit of cooperation of all stakeholders.

3. The Government and people of Japan is ready to assist Nepal’s effort to this end, and ready to go along with people of Nepal, and also confident that the friendly and cooperative relation that so happily exist between the two countries will be further strengthened in the days ahead.
