One hundred illustrations of contemporary Japanese architecture, varying from metropolises to areas of reclaimed land, were presented by prominent Japanese architects, which illustrated how architectural expression responded to changes in social conditions in Japan. In addition, it provided a deeper understanding of the nature of Japan and its architecture today.
The subjects and the created works by the architects brought together in this exhibition represent each architect's individual exploration of the concept of culture, society and time and personal identity.
