Dr. Noboru Iwamura Receives the Japanese Foreign Minister's Commendation

Dr. Noboru Iwamura, former chairman of international Human Resources Institute Network, was presented with the Japanese Foreign Minister's Commendation on July 4, 2003.
Dr. Iwamura has contributed enormously in deepening the mutual understanding and friendly relations between Japan and Nepal through his long years of medical service in Nepal. He came to Nepal in 1962 as a medical doctor who belonged to Japan Overseas Christian Medical Cooperation Service. He has worked for 18 years implementing immunization campaigns against diseases, including tuberculosis and leprosy, and improving public health in mountainous remote areas.
