  • Improvement of Intersections in Kathmandu City

Such traffic conditions have been adversely affecting the daily activities of ordinary citizens as well as the urban environment.

Although this project mainly provides hardware support for the construction of intersections, installation of traffic signals, etc., it is expected that additional measures like enforcement of the traffic rules and regulations necessary for ensuring smooth traffic operation, maintenance of the physical facilities being constructed under this project, and public awareness program on road safety are undertaken by the concerned authorities of the Government of Nepal.
