Seminar at the Embassy hall
On February 19, 20 and 23, Mr. Tomonari Tanabe, language advisor of the Japan Foundation gave a seminar at the Pokhara Japanese Language and Culture Center and the Embassy Hall. The first part of the seminar focused on a description of the revised version of the Japanese Language Proficiency Test (JLPT) which is going to be conducted twice a year, in July and December, from this year. The latter part of the seminar explored the basic skills of reading, pronunciation and accent as well as the use of particles, which are often difficult for students to learn.

The participating teachers commented that the seminar was very useful and easy to understand. It not only helped to improve delegates Japanese language but also helped to improve attending teachers teaching ability. Above all, it has built their confidence in teaching Japanese.
